4.0 Managing project evaluations
Projects may undertake an evaluation to answer specific questions about the performance of project activities and results. In most cases the design of the evaluation is undertaken in the planning phase of the project’s life cycle (i.e., when you articulate your project goal and indicators and think about what you are willing to commit to measure).
Evaluation design and analysis are highly technical areas. It, therefore, becomes critical for teams to manage evaluations well by recruiting a strong team and establishing standards for conducting the evaluation.
